This project entailed blasting for a commercial development in downtown Wendell, ID. Many precautions were taken to keep traffic stopped, seismographs were used to monitor ground vibrations for local businesses nearby. Pre and post blast inspections were done on all buildings surrounding the blast. Lafferty was hired to drill and blast where the fuel storage for the gas station would be. Traffic control as well as Idaho power were involved to keep traffic stopped and Idaho power had to use a truck to hold a telephone pole that was just 15ft away from the blast.
